Microsoft announced the second wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for July 2026. According to Xbox Wire, the new batch includes Halo: Campaign Evolved, Beast of Reincarnation, Heretic + Hexen and Shift at Midnight.
One of the main releases in the lineup is Halo: Campaign Evolved. The game will launch on July 28, 2026 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, and will also debut in Xbox Game Pass later this month.
Halo: Campaign Evolved is a remake of the original Halo campaign. It will include updated graphics, a new mission, new levels, gameplay mechanics and weapons, as well as reworked cutscenes and audio. The original voice cast will return to record dialogue again.
The game will not include the original PvP multiplayer modes. At the same time, it will support online co-op for four players and local split-screen co-op for two players, along with cross-platform play and cross-progression in the campaign during online co-op.
Microsoft also highlighted other releases in the July lineup. These include Beast of Reincarnation, a new action RPG from Game Freak, known for Pokémon, the classic shooter collection Heretic + Hexen from id Software, and the indie horror game Shift at Midnight, which is preparing for release on Xbox consoles.
In the original material, the publication notes that Microsoft is expanding the Game Pass catalog after large-scale restructuring at Xbox, which led to 3,200 layoffs.

According to the published Xbox Wire list, the new games will be released across Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Console, Handheld and PC, depending on the title and subscription tier, including Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass.
